Change of address

Nothing stays the same forever, especially not e-mail addresses, so several members have asked for help changing the e-mail address linked to their roguecurrent.com memberships.

Changing your e-mail address can be done by clicking “Settings” in the menu at the top of the right hand column. That will bring up the screen where you can manage all sort of behind the scenes stuff.

Select “Profile” from the menu of the left of that screen. Then you will see a list with your e-mail, p… Continue

So what has brought you here?

When roguecurrent.com members log in, they are greeted by a simple question — "What brings you here?" — at the top of their pages. This friendly feature is common on social networks.

Facebook has status updates where people share how they’re feeling, what they’re doing or what they’re thinking with their friends and others around them. Twitter asks "What are you doing?" and gives you 140 characters to tell the world.

That’s exactly what the roguecurrent.com update is about, too. Members’ updat… Continue

Show me your pics!

Adding photos to roguecurrent.com is easy. In fact, members have already added 3,537, making photos far and away the most popular part of this social network. (Thanks to all our awesome photographers for sharing.)

All those photos indicate many of you totally have this all figured out, but here are some instructions for the rest of us.

Click the “Add Photos” link on your page or on the main photos page to upload photographs. When you add photos that are stored on your computer, you can add up… Continue

In a giving mood

This week Ning, the company that provides the software that powers roguecurrent.com, introduced “gifts,” small graphics to be purchased and given to other members. You might have noticed a message about the new feature at the top of roguecurrent.com pages and an announcement that you had some credits to try the new feature. It was Ning’s first move to generate revenue from members of all its networks.

Here at roguecurrent.com, we didn’t think it matched what we wanted for our online community.… Continue

Thank for the warm welcome! Actually, the 'Open Range' photo is what brought me to the RogueCurrent site. A similar photo ran on page 3 of today's Mail Tribune and I was searching the site to see if the photo made it online. I didn't find the photo, but I DID find RogueCurrent and decided to join up.

I would have liked to have seen the "gifts" graphics. It dont hurt to try something new. If its a hit, then great! If not, then you can get rid of it. I always look for something new or differnt.

The site looks great. Love the functionality of being able to change my page's "theme."

I was recently found by many of my Phoenix High School 1983 Graduates on Facebook. Like John Darling resisted... so did I. Now I'm glad to see the MT launch Rogue Current. Bretso- I need a decent photo to post now. You, Julie and Reuben look so photogenic!
