Just ate my first official all local meal. Very simple - just corn on the cob and fish. All perfect. The fish, ling cod, comes from Port Orford Sustainable Seafood, the folks who had a table at the festival yesterday. Leesa Cobb, one of its members, said they're only twelve fishermen and family members using only hook and line, who work to keep local coastal fisheries viable. Really nice cod, tender and fresh. Puts me in mind of living on the coast, in Newport, where we could go down to the dock… Continue
