Got a great walking route?

One of the best times of the year to get out and walk in the Rogue Valley is approaching, and I'm looking for new routes, preferably at least a few miles long and with a good hill or two. This is a trail hiking group, but I'm open to roads, too. Anybody got a place they love (and want to share with all)? Thanks!

Permalink Reply by Mathew on April 28, 2010 at 9:11am: We've done some decent hiking in Lithia Park, as well as by the Britt festival in Jacksonville. Some other good trails are in the Ashland watershed (Caterpillar trail, White Rabbit trail, Lamb Mine trail, etc.) You can get to the watershed trails by taking Morton St. uphill. It jogs a couple times, so watch for the signs. It will eventually turn into a trail head parking area.

We just tried Pilot rock a couple weeks ago and it still had 3-4' of snow, so that's probably not a great idea just yet.; ▶ Reply to This
