Bear Creek Park: Dianne Strong with Southern Oregon Jazz Orchestra

Anybody else see the Medford parks department's first concert of the summer concert series at Bear Creek Park last night? The Southern Oregon Jazz Orchestra delivered a pleasant string of jazz standards, but the highlight of the evening for us was vocalist Dianne Strong, who brought impressive energy to the music every time she stepped to the front of the stage. I found her YouTube site this morning.

If you missed him at the park, you can catch him with the Rogue Suspects tonight at EdenVale Winery, which is launching a summer series as well.; ▶ Reply to This

The event I am really looking forward to is Gary Wade on September 9 playing with his son and grandson. I haven't heard his son and grandson but Gary plays in Jumpstart with my son and he is absolutely a monster player.; ▶ Reply to This
