Easiest place to access flyfishing on the Rogue (from the bank) is probably in the Touvelle area. Take Table Rock Road north 4-5 miles from Biddle Road. From the county boat ramp (north side of river, west side of Table Rock Road), you can wade/walk down river a couple of hundred yards. You have to go into the river at the boat ramp, since they blocked off land access, but the water's shallow. There's a slight bend, with a riffle and you can fish above or below it (or in it if your footing is solid). You can also go above Touvelle on the other side of the road by going through the state park to the far east end and walking about a third of a mile upstream to the big bend. Watch out in that area, ledge rock can be a bit tricky to wade on. You have to pay to park on both sides -- $3 on county side, not sure on state side, but about the same.
